What You'll Do
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures and follow all plant safety protocols
- Identify, mark, and handle steel coils and production materials
- Complete routine equipment and work area inspections
- Perform physically demanding labour including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and shovelling when required
- Work safely around cranes, conveyors, heavy machinery, heat, dust, and moving equipment
- Use basic hand tools and assist operators with production activities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support production teams to keep operations running efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in steel manufacturing, heavy industrial, construction, mining, foundry, rail, or similar physically demanding environments
- Ability to perform continuous heavy labour throughout a 12-hour shift
- Comfortable working in hot, dusty, noisy industrial conditions
- Able to work rotating continental shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)

- Comfortable wearing all required PPE

- Mechanically inclined with basic hand tool experience is an asset
