- Conduct routine and sophisticated laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
- Carefully analyze results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, guide new staff or students, and uphold the highest standards of lab quality.
- Ensure a safe and organized work space while strictly following regulatory and accreditation mandates.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or another relevant allied health degree; ASCP/AMT certification preparation is a plus.
- ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be achieved within one year of employment.
- Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities to foster effective teamwork.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and troubleshoot issues in fast-paced settings.
