Schedule Notes
• Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience
• NRP certification
• BLS certification
• OBIX experience
• Epic experience
• We will approve up to one (1) week of requested time off (RTO) at the start of employment
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working every weekend
• OT is billable after 48- hours work week
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. The role utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient and family care and education. The nurse communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team and participates in identifying and implementing solutions to achieve patient care goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.
  • Communicate relevant patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and identify variances from established care goals.
  • Participate in developing and implementing solutions to address patient care needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel to support positive outcomes.
  • Perform other related nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to develop effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).

Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
