We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to assist in our laboratory with day-to-day operations. The Lab Technician will perform functions including Hash Rosin Prep and press, Washing Fresh Frozen (Ice water Extraction), and sanitation related assignments. The Ideal candidate operates well in a fast paced, detail oriented environment, and is passionate about creating the highest quality products possible.
Responsibilities include:
  • The Technician will complete tasks assigned by the GM, Director of Manufacturing, Lab Manager, or Supervisor and will maintain the organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production areas, as well as to maintain quality control measures
  • Execute solventless production methods (both water hash and rosin extraction) accurately and effectively according to SOPs without deviation
  • Ensure that both pre-production and post-production tasks are accomplished
  • Record accurate and detailed production records
  • Assist the Rosin Team with prep work
  • Processing of bulk water hash into designated solventless skus as outlined by management
  • Preparing of bulk solventless extract for post processing in accordance with SOP’s
  • Organization of Water Hash amp; Rosin
  • Operate ice water extraction equipment
  • Prepare biomass for processing
  • Prepare trays and jars for dried hash.
  • Collect dried hash and record yields for data entry.
  • Assist in other tasks as assigned by the Lab Manager, Supervisors, or Leads
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Sanitize and maintain work station, tools, and equipment
  • Work in a walk in freezer for long periods of time
  • Identify and report any issues to Lab Manager, Supervisors, and Leads
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desired.
  • Experience packaging cannabis or gramming/handling of concentrates is highly desired
  • The ideal candidate is a cannabis concentrates enthusiast who has a strong understanding of solventless products.
  • An ideal candidate understands the demands of a production schedule, and operates with a sense of urgency, striving to be both efficient and quality driven.
  • Ability to work in a walk-in fridge for an 8 hour shift. Must be able to spend a prolonged period of time in cold temperatures (around 40 degrees).
  • Maintain an up tempo physical workload
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and squat for extended periods
  • Must be able to Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high-stress situations, and be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be able to reach set goals within a given time frame

  • Must be able to work a weekly schedule Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
