About the Role
Do you love working with your hands? If sewing, knitting, cooking, jewelry making, model building, or any other detail-driven hobby is your thing, BESTAFF wants to talk to you. We're hiring Masking Technicians for a growing manufacturing partner in Indianapolis, IN, where your precision and patience directly support life-changing products. You'll train through a hands-on masker certification program over your first 6–12 months, building real technical skill while you work.
What You'll Do
  • Follow designated processes, work instructions, and Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs)
  • Perform masking and demasking of customer product using small hand tools, a microscope, and other support equipment
  • Inspect your own work for quality compliance
  • Inspect, disassemble, clean, refurbish, and reassemble coating fixtures as needed
  • Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements
  • Maintain strong punctuality and attendance
  • Operate precision measuring instruments and record results
  • Work in a clean room environment, following PPE and hygiene protocols
  • Keep a clean, organized work area and follow all plant and corporate safety policies
  • Support proper disposal, packaging, labeling, shipping, or inspection of hazardous materials as required
  • Assist in other areas as business needs shift
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clear spoken and written English
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to communicate production results and quality issues clearly
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • High manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for precision masking work
  • Ability to distinguish red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet
  • Near vision sufficient to read a Jaeger eye chart at 14–24″, with or without correction
