Summary:

Responsible for dispensing raw materials, liquids, powders (hazardous and non-hazardous), and acids/bases, under cGMP conditions to support the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API). The role involves executing dispensing processes, ensuring compliance with cGMP and GDP standards, maintaining documentation, and adhering to all safety and procedural requirements.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform and monitor all dispensing processes and weighing activities for liquids, powders, acids, and bases.
  • Follow and adhere to written procedures (SOPs) while working in a Class C environment with appropriate PPE.
  • Execute process recipes and maintain compliance with cGMP and GDP documentation standards.
  • Monitor equipment and processes; perform basic lab tasks such as pH measurement, conductivity, and sampling.
  • Maintain qualification for assigned tasks and ensure training records are current.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of dispensing equipment per schedule.
  • Conduct peer and first-level reviews of completed eDispense orders/kits after appropriate training signoffs.
  • Prepare materials for transport and delivery to manufacturing suites and record material movements in software systems.
  • Participate in safety inspections and report safety observations to promote a safe work environment.
  • Attend shift exchanges, meetings, and complete administrative tasks such as email communication and project participation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Logistics Team.
Required Skills
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with material handling systems, dispensing software (e.g., eDispense), and electronic batch record systems.
  • Understanding of basic lab instrumentation (pH meters, conductivity meters).
  • Participation in safety programs or previous involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Basic understanding of cGMP compliance and good documentation practices (GDPs).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and execute tasks accurately in a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in recordkeeping (both written and electronic).
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
  • Capability to perform routine equipment cleaning, sanitization, and documentation reviews.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
