Job description

  • Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
  • Biweekly Hours: 80
  • Shift: Days/Evenings
  • Schedule: 5x8hr shifts
  • Start/End Time: 8a-4:30p
  • Weekends: Every 4th weekend 3p-11:30p
  • Call: Yes

As an academic medical center, The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio, is committed to investing in our caregivers. Sign-on bonuses up to $15,000 and potential relocation support is available. MetroHealth is Greater Cleveland's most experienced Level 1 Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a safety-net hospital, MetroHealth plays an essential role in the region, caring for anyone and everyone, regardless of an ability to pay. Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults. Equipment:
  • Brand new Siemens Flouro remote and direct units
  • Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment
  • Portable Konica digital unit
  • Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of am accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
  • BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
Physical Requirements:
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
  • May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
  • May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
  • Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
