We are committed to quality food, respectful service, safe food handling and a welcoming workplace.Position SummaryThe Part-Time Morning Weekend Front of House Team Member opens and prepares customer-service areas, welcomes guests, processes orders and payments and supports takeout and delivery service during busy weekend mornings.Key Responsibilities?Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional and culturally respectful service. ? Take orders accurately in person and by phone and enter them into the POS system. ? Process cash, debit and credit payments accurately. ? Package and verify takeout, delivery and catering orders. ? Communicate clearly with kitchen and delivery staff regarding orders and customer needs. ? Restock front-end supplies, beverages, condiments and packaging materials. ? Maintain clean and organized counters, dining areas, service stations and entrances. ? Respond to customer questions or concerns and involve a supervisor when required. ? Complete assigned opening duties and ensure customer areas are ready for service.Qualifications and Requirements? Previous restaurant, retail, cashier or customer-service experience is an asset. ? Friendly, professional and respectful communication skills. ? Ability to learn and accurately use a POS system. ? Strong attention to order accuracy, cleanliness and customer needs. ? Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods. ? Reliable attendance, punctuality and weekend availability. ? Manitoba Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain it upon hire.Working ConditionsThis onsite position involves extended standing and walking, frequent reaching and bending, and lifting and carrying supplies or packaged orders up to 30 pounds. The employee must be able to work safely around hot equipment, food products, cleaning materials and commercial kitchen operations.
