Job description

Clement Manor is a faith-based independent living, assisted living, CBRF and long term care community, nationally recognized for providing a superior quality environment for older adults. We are currently looking for more than one Weekend RN Supervisor to work 12 hour shifts (6:30pm-7:00am and/or 6:30am-6:30pm, every Sat/Sun totaling 48hrs bi-weekly.)
Previous experience in a similar setting is helpful (Please provide dates of experience in resume). This position requires candidates to be licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin, graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing, & CPR certification.
This position supervises the weekend nursing care of all residents including assessment and care planning as well as supervises staff in providing direct care and medication administration to residents. We are looking for someone who can be a team player by participating in house-wide coverage. Experience in an assisted living setting is not a requirement but is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Know and give report for total resident care including assessment, medications, treatments and daily living and psychological care.
  • Manage and supervise the delivery of and storage of medications.
  • Assess and serve as first resource for residents and staff on nursing care concerns.
  • Complete all resident and work records including nursing assistant assignments and care cards; medication and treatment records, nursing notes, daily report sheets and resident care plan.
  • Assess residents needs and change care plan accordingly.
  • Utilize resources to provide resident and family with information regarding health care needs. Communicate with all families / and or significant others and team members (nursing and interdisciplinary) resident status or any change in condition.
  • Provide for an atmosphere of positive, proactive customer service, for the resident's psychosocial well-being.
  • Supervise nursing staff, serving as a role model. Set performance expectations, provide orientation and on-going training, promote collaboration and teamwork, promote company culture, provide performance feedback, delegate effectively, resolve conflicts, etc.

Skills Required:
  • Practices active listening and be approachable to nurses and other health care professionals, as well as to patients and families.
  • Clearly conveys patient instructions and explaining policies, even when under pressure.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, decision-making, human resources practices, and mentoring.
  • Focused on results, ensuring that their teams are meeting patient care expectations.
  • Ability to maintain resident safety standards, policy requirements, and scheduling changes

Job Requirements:
  • Current Wisconsin RN license.
  • At least three years of experience working as an RN in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Positive attitude and Professionalism - We expect our employees to step it up and jump in where needed with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge/familiarity of state and federal survey processes
  • Ensure that nursing areas provide high-quality care by holding others accountable to company's rules and regulations.
