Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lay-up into molds using pre-impregnated material or apply liquid resin to materials and lay-up into molds.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions for materials and orientations during the lamination process.
  • Prepare vacuum bags following general bagging and debagging procedures and ensure vacuum integrity.
  • Prepare molds for lay-up and maintain mold surface quality.
  • Release air bubbles, smooth seams, press layers into the mold
  • Trim excess materials

Education and Experience (required):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with carpentry, drywall, framing, jewelry making is very helpful.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to ensure part conformity and continuous improvement.
  • Mechanical skills, upper body strength, and dexterity.
  • Ability to work overtime and some weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ability to have good attendance and willingness to learn.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred):

  • ย Prior experience in a role dependent on craftsmanship and meeting quality standards.
