Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all basic cleaning

  • Clean and supply restrooms

  • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing them

  • Restocking toilet tissue, toilet seat covers, paper towel, hand soap, hand sanitizer

  • Clean windows and mirrors

  • Clean doors, door handles, countertops and tabletops

  • Remove waste and empty trash

  • Arrange chairs and tables

  • Organize janitorial storage closet

  • Restock cart and janitorial closet at the end of the shift

  • Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or the need for repairs/maintenance

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Updates cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned

  • Corrugate Recycling

Training:

  • Must be willing to be cross-trained to accommodate distinct department roles

Physical Demands:

  • Full range of motion

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, reach above shoulders.

  • Ability to maintain continuous walking, standing, bending, or stooping for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to pull via pallet jack.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must pass a background check and drug test before employment

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Authorized to work in the U.S

  • Boots/Shoes: Must wear steel toe, composite toe, or alloy toe
