Since 1978, Modern Maintenance has provided commercial janitorial and facility management services to a wide range of companies across the United States.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 2p-10:30p
Tuesday-Saturday 2p-10:30p
Pay: $24/hr
This position requires government badging. Must pass federal background check and fingerprinting
This is a Union position. Union dues are paid after 90 days of employment.
***MUST Have REAL ID or Passport. This is a federal building and you can not enter without one of them. The REAL ID has a yellow star in the top right corner***
The responsibilities include:
  • Supervision of on-site janitorial staff
  • Resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Helping plan and prepare work schedules
  • Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Working with Area Manager to ensure quality standards are met
  • Other job duties as needed

This is a working position. Cleaning required.
  • Empty trash containers
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Vacuum all carpeted floors
  • Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
  • Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
  • Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
  • Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
  • Notify Area Manager of any problems
  • Perform other janitorial duties as required
