Job description

Industrial Cleaner - Janitorial Services
Two shifts available- Day and Evening - Full Time and Part Time
  • Mon- Saturday (16 hours daily)
  • Sunday- ( 12 hours)

Hourly: $18.00
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our janitorial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in industrial facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of industrial areas including floors, walls, machinery, and equipment.
  • Drive a Forklift ( experience a plus but not required)
  • moving scrap metal and wood pallets, running a floor scrubber, and other misc labor intensive jobs as needed
  • will work indoors and outdoors ( heat/cold)
  • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Dispose of waste materials according to company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning.
  • Work collaboratively with other janitorial staff and supervisors to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if required.

Work Environment
This position involves working in industrial settings which may include exposure to dust, noise, and chemicals. Proper safety measures and PPE will be provided to ensure a safe working environment.
