Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our janitorial staff in a large shopping mall in Provo, Utah. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff across assigned facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
  • Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and task checklists.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to janitorial services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
