Job Summary: Varying Shifts

SAYCARE LLC is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our Environmental Services team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout our healthcare facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, waiting areas, and offices to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure the proper disposal of waste, including biohazard and medical waste, following facility protocols.
  • Perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment regularly.
  • Replenish supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, in designated areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols to reduce the spread of germs and ensure the safety of all individuals within the facility.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the Environmental Services Manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment, is a plus.
