**$200 Hiring Bonus after 90 Days**
Position Available: Full-Time Unarmed Security Floater - 1st, 2nd amp; 3rd Shift (40 hours per week)
(Position will work at different locations within Oakland County. Must have your own vehicle to drive.)
Schedule: Monday through Sunday, 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, for various sites within Wayne/Oakland County.
Wage: $22.00/hour

Job Summary:
The Floating Security Officer provides flexible security coverage across multiple client sites and locations as needed. This role ensures the safety and security of people, property, and assets by maintaining a professional presence, conducting patrols, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents. Floating Officers must be adaptable, reliable, and prepared to perform unarmed duties based on assignment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide security coverage at multiple sites, covering open shifts, call-offs, or special assignments as directed.
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards.
  • Control access to facilities by verifying identification and credentials.
  • Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and security equipment.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
  • Enforce site-specific policies, rules, and regulations professionally and fairly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and the public.
  • Complete clear, accurate, and timely reports on incidents and daily activities.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
  • Remain flexible and prepared to work different shifts, locations, and site types on short notice.
  • Attend and complete all required training, including site-specific orientations and firearms qualifications if applicable.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Ability to work at different locations and adapt to diverse site requirements.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and any required psychological evaluations.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, or driving for extended periods and responding rapidly to incidents.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if driving between sites is required).
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and last-minute assignments.
