Job description

Job Title – Energy Sales Representative

We are Looking For:

  • We are hunting for SALES AGENTS, not customer service reps.

The Role: NRG Energy Sales Agent

  • Location: O'Hare International Airport, Retail Locations, Local Festivals and Events.
  • Sell and enroll customers on behalf of NRG Energy and their electricity and gas supply services.
  • Engage customers at kiosks inside O'Hare and Midway International Airports, offering a miles reward program for enrolling with NRG Energy for their electricity supply.
  • Opportunity to participate in many local large and small festivals and events in and around the greater Chicagoland area.
  • NOT a door-to-door, cold calling, or Multi-level Marketing Operation

  • Generous hourly BASE rate plus commissions beyond the "Rookie" phase, with potential earnings of $25-$45 per hour or more.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in sales, particularly in B2C environments
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers
  • Experience in using technology for sales purposes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Clear background checks and drug screening (Marijuana excluded).
