Weekend Interfacility Transport involves non-emergency patient transfers between healthcare facilities, focusing on safe, scheduled transport. EMTs respond to emergencies, providing immediate pre-hospital care. While both roles require CPR certification, EMTs need more advanced medical training. The key difference lies in the work environment and urgency level, with weekend transport being scheduled and non-emergency, and EMT work often being urgent and emergency-focused.
