Job description

Duke University Health System is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to serve as an Integrative Primary Care Provider at Duke Integrative Medicine. Duke's unique Integrative Medicine concierge primary care model provides the opportunity and time to partner with patients to truly practice Integrative Medicine in a primary care setting. In addition, our Integrative Consult service allows coordination with patients and their conventional primary care practitioners to provide a more targeted integrative approach to specific health issues.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented group of Integrative Health providers in one of the leading Integrative Health centers in the nation. Our team includes acupuncturists, massage therapists, yoga therapists, nutritionists and licensed clinical social workers whose clinical insights and participation are integral to our program.
Duke Integrative Medicine is a recognized leader among the growing numbers of universities that offer integrative health care. A founding member of The Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine, Duke Integrative Medicine works to further medical research, education and clinical practice.
This position requires board certification in Internal or Family Medicine along with further training in Integrative Medicine. Completion of a fellowship in Integrative Medicine or an Integrative Medicine in Residency (IMR) training program and board certification in Integrative Medicine is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, have a passion for teaching and mentoring, a commitment to health equity and an interest in group medical visits.
