Physical Therapist - Pelvic Floor

The Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt is seeking an experienced Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our collaborative, relationship-centered care team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a physical therapist with expertise in pelvic health rehabilitation, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain management and to practice in a truly integrative healthcare environment.

Our therapists work alongside nurse practitioners, physicians, psychologists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and movement specialists to develop highly individualized treatment plans that address the whole person, not just symptoms.

Unlike many traditional outpatient settings, physical therapy appointments are scheduled for 50 minutes, allowing therapists the time needed to provide comprehensive evaluations, hands-on care, patient education, and meaningful therapeutic relationships. Patients are paired with a primary therapist and remain with that provider throughout their care journey, promoting continuity of care and improved outcomes.

The selected therapist will join a team of four physical therapists and become a key resource for patients requiring specialized pelvic floor rehabilitation services, helping expand access to care while keeping patients connected within Vanderbilt Health.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Tennessee Physical Therapy License or eligibility for Tennessee licensure.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, or related pelvic health conditions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Specialized training or certification in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.
• Experience in women's health, men's pelvic health, chronic pain, or integrative healthcare settings.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary outpatient environment.
