Anesthesiologist Physician

Join a dynamic and supportive team in a modern, 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Anesthesiologist to enhance our growing department, working alongside a team of skilled professionals including board-certified anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and Anesthesiology Assistants (AAs).

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 a.m. with a rotating off schedule as cases conclude. Must be willing to perform solo cases with an opportunity for small supervision; no weekend call; paid time off + holidays
  • Call Rotation: 1-in-8 call schedule; no weekend call required. Home call is permitted.
  • Case Load: Involves bread and butter general anesthesiology cases including nerve blocks, A-lines, and epidurals. The hospital handles approximately 40-50 cases per day across 10 operative sites, excluding cardiac and neurosurgery cases.
  • Technology: Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including new Mindray anesthesia machines, ultrasounds, and advanced tools for emergency airways and rapid infusions.
