 REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 years of experience required

  • EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies required

  • Epic experience required

  • BLS & ACLS required

  • PA or Compact RN license required

  • Travel experience not required

  • Candidate must complete an EKG test prior to start

  • Manager interview required

UNIT INFORMATION

WellSpan York Hospital's Invasive Cardiology unit includes 4 Cardiac Catheterization Labs and 2 Electrophysiology Labs, along with 23 prep/recovery bays.

The unit performs more than 6,000 procedures annually and provides advanced cardiovascular treatments, including:

  • Complex coronary procedures

  • VAD/ECMO

  • TAVR

  • Left atrial appendage occlusion

  • PFO/ASD closure

  • Mitral valve clipping

  • Complex atrial and ventricular ablations

  • Pacemaker/ICD implantation and extraction

  • Cardioversion

  • Peripheral interventions

  • Pulmonary embolectomy

SCHEDULE & OTHER DETAILS
  • Day shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM

  • Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for

  • Floating may be required as needed

  • No regular weekend requirement

  • No regular call requirement listed
