Make a Difference
Community Hospital East has an opportunity available on our Short Stay - Observation unit. This RN will be part of a professional procedural care team responsible for post-operative surgical care as well as some pre-procedural care. Will also be responsible for some overflow inpatient Med/Surg patients for observation and some infusion patients. Will collaborate with all members of the procedural care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills, will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
  • Will be able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness
  • 1 year of Progressive Care experience required.
