PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Healthcare (Pediatric Focus)

Location: Blairsville, GA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN home healthcare role in Blairsville, GA. This position requires pediatric experience and the ability to provide high-quality, individualized care in a home setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, monitoring, and managing pediatric patients with medical complexities while supporting families and caregivers.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home healthcare setting.
Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and assess vital signs, respiratory status, and overall health of the patient.
Perform and manage G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support as needed.
Educate and guide families and caregivers on pediatric care, emergency response, and safety measures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Coordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards in a home setting.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
Minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience (home healthcare experience preferred).
Current BLS/CPR certification (PALS preferred).
