Job description

Facility near Seattle, WA seeking Cardiology NP locums coverageRates: $140/hrOpportunity Highlights 
  • Setting & Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in an Outpatient Clinic setting. No call, no weekends, no inpatient rounding, and no procedural responsibilities.
  • Workload: Manage approximately 16 patient visits per day, primarily focused on follow-up visits after procedures, annual cardiology visits, and acute outpatient cardiology visits.
  • Required Skills: Must be proficient in interpreting cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing results for the management of complex patients. Must have strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • EMR & Support: Utilize EPIC (required experience). Work within a collaborative team-based care model with full MA, RN, and front office staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage follow-up visits after procedures, annual cardiology check-ups, and acute outpatient cardiology visits.
  • Provide inbox coverage/management for absent providers.
  • Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing results for patient management.
  • Work independently within the established team model.
Requirements
  • Credential: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Experience: Required to have Cardiology Outpatient Experience (dealbreaker).
  • EMR Proficiency: Required to have EPIC experience (dealbreaker).
  • Licensure: Active Washington (WA) State License is REQUIRED.
  • Certifications: Active DEA and NPI are REQUIRED.
  • Background: Clean Malpractice History is highly preferred.
  • Assignment Duration: Seeking a commitment of 6–9 months.
