Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Water Treatment Plant Operator to support daily operations of water treatment facilities. This role ensures systems run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards through monitoring, sampling, and reporting.
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Operate water treatment and pumping systems, including chemical dosing
- Perform sampling, testing, and analysis per established procedures
- Monitor system performance and complete operational reports
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Inspect treatment facilities and related infrastructure
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Qualifications:- Associate degree in Chemistry or related science (or equivalent experience)
- Water Treatment Plant Operator License III or IV required
- 2+ years of experience in water treatment, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Ability to monitor systems and complete technical reports
- Valid driver's license required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
