Job Description

As a Security Guard - Part Time Weekends in Greendale, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and/or visitor activity, verifying credentials and following site protocols for deliveries, vendors, and authorized personnel.
  • Observe site operations and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations that could impact normal business activity or security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
