Weekend Day Shift, Week 1 - Sunday through Tuesday 3 AM - 3 PM, Week 2 - Sunday through Wednesday 3 AM - 3 PM

As a Driver, you will have a starring role as you provide daily freight solutions for our customers. In this position, you’ll be able to spend time at home at the end of your shift. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensure the assigned truck/trailer is always properly placarded to meet DOT regulations
  • Coordinate work assignments with immediate supervisor to ensure customer orders are completed
  • Communicate all work stoppages, equipment failures and significant work-related problems to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner
  • Maintain adequate driving speeds, trip reports and logbooks
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers

What you need to succeed at GXO: 

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 1 year of driving experience
  • Class C license

It’d be great if you also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 consecutive years of driving experience

This job requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
