VNA of Ohio is one of Northeast Ohio's most established home health agencies - 124 years strong, CHAP-accredited, and 4-star rated by CMS. We're building our PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant team and offering competitive per-visit pay with the flexibility to work on your terms.

Pay Rates – Per Completed Visit

Per Visit - $42

Downtime (pre-approved wait time) - $32/hour

"Completed" = visit done in the home + documentation finished in EMR within 24 hours + orders/signatures uploaded + meets QA standards.

Service Area & Schedule

Cleveland / Northeast Ohio

What You'll Do
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments to home health patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the established plan of care
  • Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and home management
  • Implement therapeutic interventions focused on fine motor skills, coordination, cognitive function, and adaptive techniques
  • Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and compensatory strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR within required timeframes
  • Communicate regularly with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Active COTA license (Ohio) + current BLS certification
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the Cleveland / Northeast Ohio service area
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical occupational therapy assistant experience

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior home health experience
  • Experience working under OT supervision in a community or home-based setting
  • Familiarity with HCHB or similar home health EMR
  • Experience with adaptive equipment recommendations and home modification assessments
