Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests during LIV Golf Indianapolis. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering outstanding customer service in premium hospitality areas, suites, clubs, and catered events. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment while following all alcohol service and safety regulations.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00

This is a seasonal role from August 17, 2026 and will end on August 23, 2026.

This position will remain open until August 23, 2026.


  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Verify guest identification and comply with all Indiana alcohol service laws and company policies.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with guests.
  • Set up and break down bar areas before and after each event.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar stations throughout the shift.
  • Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for cashless transactions, when applicable.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory, restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and supplies.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, barbacks, servers, and other hospitality team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Previous bartending experience in catering, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, stadiums, golf tournaments, or special events is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain or possess any required Indiana alcohol service certification, if applicable.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up heavy objects.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the tournament.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance consistent with OVG's Personal Appearance Policy.
  • Ability to have consistent and punctual attendance is required.
  • Must successfully complete all required onboarding and training before the event.
