Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
  • Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Can handle projects at multiple properties.
  • Maintains inventory of commonly used products and equipment.
  • Ability to address issues with appliance repair and removal, carpentry, drywall, electrical, flooring, kitchen and bath remodeling, painting, plumbing, pressure washing, windows and doors.
  • Prioritizes and documents repairs per policy and standard operating procedure
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and navigate various areas throughout the property, including confined or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to position self in small spaces, including attics, basements and other difficult to reach areas.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other employees both in person, written and via electronic channels.
  • Candidates must have your own tools.
  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs.

Competencies:

· Good driving record with no major violations.
