LINE COOK / PREP COOK —

OPENING TEAM Soda Club Denver | The Ramble Hotel, RiNo | Opening September 2026

Build the kitchen. Shape the culture. Be part of the first service.

Soda Club, New York City’s acclaimed pasta and wine destination, is bringing its signature combination of craftsmanship, warmth, and playful elegance to Denver.

Colorado native and James Beard Award–nominated restaurateur Ravi DeRossi with partner and wine director Drew Brady, first opened Soda Club in Manhattan’s East Village in 2021 and has earned Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition every year since. The Denver restaurant—Soda Club’s first expansion outside New York—will open at The Ramble Hotel in RiNo in September 2026.

At the heart of Soda Club is an ambitious culinary program led by Executive Chef Amira Gharib, who helped bring the original New York restaurant to life. Her menu centers on fresh handmade pasta, rare Roman-style pinsa made with long-fermented dough, and ingredient-driven dishes that balance comfort, creativity, and refinement.

Joining her in Denver is Chef de Cuisine Jon Robbins, the celebrated local chef behind the 12-year run of Park Hill’s Bistro Barbès. Robbins brings a background that includes leadership at Mizuna, experience in Michelin-starred French kitchens, and a reputation for exacting technique and thoughtful hospitality.

The Opportunity

We are assembling the opening culinary team and seeking line cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers who care deeply about their craft.

This is a rare opportunity to help establish a restaurant from the ground up—to learn the systems, contribute to the culture, and develop alongside an accomplished culinary team. Whether you are an experienced line cook ready for your next challenge or an ambitious cook looking to build a stronger foundation, Soda Club offers an environment where curiosity, discipline, and hard work are recognized.

We believe exceptional restaurants are built by people who arrive prepared, move with purpose, communicate clearly, support their teammates, and take pride in every detail. We are looking for cooks who share those values.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and execute dishes according to Soda Club’s recipes, techniques, and presentation standards
  • Assist with fresh pasta production, sauces, fillings, long-fermented doughs, garnishes, and daily mise en place
  • Set up, maintain, and break down a clean, organized, and service-ready station
  • Work with focus, consistency, and urgency throughout prep and service
  • Communicate clearly about counts, timing, product quality, and station needs
  • Follow all food-safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and temperature-control procedures
  • Minimize waste through thoughtful preparation, proper rotation, and careful handling of ingredients
  • Participate in opening-team training, tastings, menu education, and the development of kitchen systems
  • Support fellow cooks and contribute to a calm, respectful, and professional workplace
  • Take ownership of every plate and preparation that leaves your station
What You Bring
  • Previous professional kitchen experience is preferred, but motivated cooks with strong fundamentals will be considered
  • A genuine interest in handmade pasta, scratch cooking, fermentation, and ingredient-driven cuisine
  • The ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and calmly in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong attention to seasoning, texture, timing, temperature, and presentation
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first mindset
  • Openness to coaching and a sincere desire to improve
  • Respect for ingredients, equipment, coworkers, and guests
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by the restaurant’s schedule
Why Join Soda Club?
  • Work within a culinary program led by Executive Chef Amira Gharib and Chef de Cuisine Jon Robbins
  • Gain hands-on exposure to fresh pasta production, Roman-style pinsa, fermentation, and detail-oriented scratch cooking
  • Join the opening team for Soda Club’s first location beyond New York City
  • Help establish the standards, systems, and culture of a highly anticipated Denver restaurant
  • Receive structured training and opportunities for professional development
  • Build a path toward increased responsibility and future advancement
  • Work in a kitchen where preparation, communication, craftsmanship, and mutual respect matter
  • Become part of a restaurant designed to feel like a true neighborhood gathering place—timeless, intimate, and quietly electric
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly compensation: $20.00–$27 per hour, based on position, experience and qualifications.

How to Apply

Please submit the following through Poached:

  • Your resume or a concise summary of relevant kitchen experience
  • Whether you are applying for line cook, prep cook, or either position
  • Your general availability
  • A brief note explaining what interests you about joining Soda Club’s opening team

We look forward to meeting cooks who share our commitment to hospitality, consistency, curiosity, and craft.

Soda Club is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
