Overview:
AAA Security Guard Services seek professional personnel to join our team!  The Flex Security Officer serves as an essential on-call resource, providing coverage across multiple client sites. This role is ideal for reliable professionals who can adapt quickly to different environments, maintain a strong security presence, and uphold company and client standards under varying conditions.  Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing quality security service and customer service. Protect our client's premises, assets and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal Security Officer has 2yrs or more experience with security, public safety, customer service and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. 
Flex Officer Position - $19.00/hourly (Level III) and $16.50/hourly (Level II):  No set schedule - the position requires dependability, open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Flex Officers are assigned based on site coverage needs and be called upon to fill shifts on short notice.
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide security coverage at multiple client locations as assigned
  • Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility to prevent safety hazards, theft, or unauthorized access
  • Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms in a calm and professional manner
  • Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
  • Remove trespassers when necessary
  • Monitor surveillance cameras 
  • Respond to reports of suspicious activity
  • Complete detailed and accurately written reports on daily activities and any security incidents 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, employees, supervisors and management
  • Adhere to all company and client policies, maintaining professionalism at all times
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred (i.e. law enforcement/military, etc.)
  • Active registration as a Level II-Noncommissioned or Level III-Commissioned Security Officer in Texas DPS/Tops
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work varied hours
  • Strong understanding of security procedures and public safety 
  • Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability (Must be able to speak and write English, effectively)
  • Ability to operate surveillance equipment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Previous security or customer service experience preferred
  • Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
Certification Requirements:
  • Valid Texas Unarmed (Level II) or Armed (Level III) Security License (Pocket Card)
  • Driver's License
Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED completion
