Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity to help support controlled access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Complete required logs, reports, and shift activity records, and communicate important access control and incident information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
