We are expanding and looking for people to join our team in the Baltimore area and beyond. Come join our community of dedicated leaders, inspiring staff and the best quality food and wellness products on the planet! As a Grocery Manager you will:
  1. Utilize reports to ensure department metrics meet company goals.
  2. Identify buying opportunities to mitigate waste on a daily and weekly basis.
  3. Manage inventory by performing daily On-Hand and Out-of-Stock audits.
  4. Oversee all purchasing within the department to ensure order accuracy to manage waste, provide product variety and prioritize special orders for customers.
  5. Oversee the signage process (print, hang, and remove) and commit price changes.
  6. Collaborate with other teams to ensure the monthly tasks are completed.
  7. Delegate store priority sets and cutting in new items, ensuring that the planners, shelf tags, signage, location, parameters, etc are all set to company merchandising standards.
  8. Manage staff by overseeing hiring, corrective action, training, mentoring and scheduling throughout the department.
  9. Collaborate with your Director team to help set and meet goals and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Dependable and reliable, having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; including nights, weekends and holidays as well as having flexibility with store assignments
  • Physical ability to perform the following: standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
  • Proficient experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and Catapult
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
  • Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field

Pay:
Year 1: $60,000
Year 2 (upon graduation and approval): $65,000 + bonus based on performance (up to $20,000)
