Job description

The fellowship is designed to empower young Black Men to become active participants in the democratic process, enhance civic engagement in their communities, and develop leadership skills through direct involvement in grassroots campaigns. This program seeks to mobilize Black voters in key regions to increase turnout and ensure their voices are heard during the election. Fellows will be actively engaged in the following activities during this election cycle.
Canvassing Events: 
  • Participate in weekend canvassing tours in key cities like Philadelphia. 

  • Engage in door-to-door outreach, distribute voting information, and encourage community members to vote. 

Community Forums: 

  • Organize local forums and virtual town halls to discuss key election issues affecting Black men, such as economic opportunity, criminal justice reform, and health equity. 

Social Media Campaigns: 

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns aimed at mobilizing Black voters and raising awareness on voting issues. 

Feedback & Data Collection: 

  • Gather voter feedback and analyze data to improve campaign strategies.
