Lake Forest Golf Club is seeking a full-time, year-round Equipment Manager to join our golf course maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented mechanic who takes pride in maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and oversee the golf course equipment maintenance program
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, routine service, and preventative maintenance on mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, small engines, and other turf equipment
  • Develop and maintain organized preventative maintenance schedules
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts inventory
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify maintenance needs before failures occur
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
  • Coordinate daily with the Golf Course Superintendent regarding equipment priorities and operational needs
  • Assist in equipment setup, adjustments, and seasonal preparation
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Help train staff on proper equipment operation and daily care procedures
  • Assist with procurement and organization of parts, supplies, and tools
  • Stay current with industry trends, equipment technology, and best practices in turf equipment management
What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience working with golf course, landscape, agricultural, or small engine equipment
