Job description

Guests at Bandon Dunes never see it happen, but every stocked shelf, every ready kitchen, and every smooth outlet transaction depends on product showing up where it's supposed to be, exactly when it's supposed to arrive. As a Distribution Driver, you're the person who makes that happen. You're the last set of eyes on an order before it leaves the warehouse, and the first face an outlet sees when it shows up. It's a role built on accuracy, reliability, and the kind of quiet dependability that keeps the whole resort running smoothly behind the scenes.
About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, will open in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.
Beyond premier golf, guests delight in a variety of dining options at Bandon Dunes' collection of restaurants. Whether you're looking to enjoy locally-sourced, Pacific-Northwest cuisine accompanied by an award-winning wine list, or prefer kicking back in a Scottish-style setting with traditional pub fare and local microbrews, there is something for everyone.
Working at Bandon Dunes is a dream for golf fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike. The Bandon Dunes team works together to create trips of a lifetime for our guests. We are passionate stewards of our resort, our community, and our environment. As an endlessly curious group, we ask questions, share ideas, and always look for a better way. With a hard-working attitude, we help guide our guests through their pure golf experience, immersed in Oregon's natural beauty and away from the demands of daily life.
What You'll Do:
  • Get the details right before anything leaves the dock. You'll serve as the final check on outgoing orders - confirming items, quantities, temperatures, and labeling are correct before loading, so every outlet gets exactly what it ordered.
  • Deliver with accuracy and professionalism. You'll load vehicles safely, follow established routes, and get orders to resort outlets on time, building trust with every stop you make.
  • Keep everyone in the loop. Using Teams, Outlook, or a quick phone call, you'll flag delays, damages, or access issues to Distribution leadership as they come up, and log shortages or discrepancies in RedRock/SAMMS.
  • Take care of the equipment you rely on. You'll complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, keep your vehicle and work areas clean and organized, and report maintenance or safety concerns right away.
  • Pitch in around the warehouse. When you're not on the road, you'll help with product rotation, replenishment, and staging, keeping things ready for the next run.
  • Show up ready, every day. Reliable attendance, a steady pace, and flexibility with routes and schedules keep the whole distribution operation moving.

What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. You're able to meet the resort's insurance requirements and can safely operate cargo vans and other delivery vehicles.
  • You're comfortable with basic technology. RedRock/SAMMS, Microsoft Teams, Outlook - you'll learn these systems if you don't already know them, and you pick up new tools without much trouble.
  • You bring steady, careful work habits. Accuracy matters as much as speed here. You notice details, keep a consistent pace, and show up reliably, shift after shift.
  • You've spent time in delivery, warehouse, or hands-on operational work. Prior route driving, temperature-controlled transport, or similar experience is a plus, though we're happy to train the right person.
  • You communicate well and take ownership. As the last check before an order goes out the door, you're comfortable speaking up when something isn't right.

A Few Things to Know:
  • Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.
  • You'll move between dry storage, coolers (35°F), freezers (0°F), and outdoor areas, sometimes in variable weather.
  • Expect regular lifting of 20-50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 60-70 lbs, plus standing, bending, and repetitive case handling on concrete flooring.
  • You'll complete food safety training and obtain a Food Handler Card (or equivalent) during onboarding - no need to have it before you start.
  • Driving records are subject to resort insurance requirements, and pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections are part of the daily routine.

Perks and Benefits For Full Time Employees:
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Enjoy a well-rounded benefits package that covers your health, wellness, and financial future.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to relax and recharge with our PTO plan.
  • Free Golf Privileges: Tee off at some of the most iconic courses in the world with complimentary golf access.
  • Quarterly Incentives: When our team meets resort-wide performance goals, we get rewarded.
  • Complimentary Lunch: Stay energized with a complimentary lunch in our Staff Cafe during your shift.
  • Resort Discounts: Save on dining and merchandise throughout the resort.
  • Supportive Work Environment: Be part of a team that supports your growth and success, with opportunities to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Career Growth: Take advantage of continuous training and development opportunities to advance your career.

If you take pride in getting the details right, showing up reliably, and keeping things moving behind the scenes, we'd like to hear from you. This role reports to our Distribution Manager and plays a direct part in making sure every corner of the resort has what it needs, every day.
At Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
