Weekend Glass Artists are individuals who create art or functional objects using glass, typically as a hobby or side profession during weekends. They may work with techniques such as glassblowing, stained glass, or lampworking in studios or home workshops. Weekend Glass Artists often participate in local art fairs, workshops, or online marketplaces to showcase and sell their creations. This role is ideal for people passionate about working with glass but who may not pursue it as a full-time career.

Weekend glass artists often face the challenge of maximizing productivity within limited studio hours, as glasswork requires careful planning and setup time. Working primarily on weekends can also mean sharing space and equipment with others, so effective communication and time management are essential.
