NOW HIRING: MILLWRIGHTS โ€“ BRUSH GENERATOR EXPERIENCE

Location: United States
Project Type: Power Generation / Field Service
Employment Type: Project-Based / Contract Opportunities
Basis North America is seeking experienced Millwrights with documented hands-on experience working on BRUSH generators for upcoming field service and power generation projects.
This position requires candidates who have directly participated in the installation, inspection, maintenance, disassembly, repair, overhaul, or reassembly of BRUSH generators or BRUSH turbogenerators.
Required Experience
Applicants must have verifiable hands-on experience with BRUSH generator equipment, including one or more of the following:
  • BRUSH generators or BRUSH turbogenerators.
  • Generator disassembly and reassembly.
  • Rotor removal and installation.
  • Bearing inspection, removal, and replacement.
  • Turbine-to-generator alignment.
  • Laser alignment and coupling alignment.
  • Air-gap and clearance measurements.
  • Inspection of generator mechanical components.
  • Coupling installation, removal, and torque procedures.
  • Soft-foot inspection and correction.
  • Lubrication systems and associated auxiliary equipment.
  • Generator outages, major inspections, repairs, or overhauls.
  • Use of precision measurement and alignment tools.
  • Reading mechanical drawings, procedures, and technical documentation.
Experience working with BRUSH generators coupled to heavy-duty gas turbines, aeroderivative gas turbines, or steam turbines is strongly preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous industrial millwright or rotating-equipment experience.
  • Documented BRUSH generator experience is required.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work safely in power plants and industrial facilities.
  • Ability to travel within the United States according to project requirements.
  • Ability to work extended shifts, outages, weekends, and overtime when required.
  • TWIC card is preferred for projects requiring access to regulated facilities.
  • OSHA, NCCER, or other relevant industrial certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
