Job Overview for General Laborers
The Lee Group is seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers to work at one of our valued clients in Suffolk, VA. In this role, you will support daily production and packaging operations in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment.
General Laborers will assist with inspecting, packing, labeling, palletizing, and preparing finished products for distribution while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable with physical work, able to stay productive throughout a 12-hour shift, and works well as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities of General Laborers
  • Inspect, pack, and palletize finished products.
  • Ensure proper labeling, weight, and quality standards are met.
  • Wrap and prepare pallets for shipment.
  • Assist with organizing products in the warehouse area.
  • Support general production and packaging operations as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations.
  • Follow all safety and food-handling procedures.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to help keep production running smoothly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
