Job Description

Unpaid/Volunteer Position
Part Time
The primary job of a Hasana, Inc. Street Team member is to promote the Hasana, Inc. Guiltless Box as well as fundraise for the Aparecio Foundation, a Chicago-based collaborative providing access for low-income women to higher education. As a volunteer for the Street Team for Hasana, Inc., you will distribute flyers and carry samples of products. A Street/Event Team will scout out the best locations, single out target consumers, and measure results with event photos, statistics, and real-time recaps. We have Street/Event Team campaigns on an as-needed basis, but we need your help spreading the word and reaching out to new neighborhoods!
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Regular and timely attendance. Flexible schedule to work nights and weekends
Daily communication with promotions manager and entire promotions team
Receives and respond to incoming telephone calls, responds to routine questions and requests
Attend weekly staff meetings with promotions street team
Distribute contest rules, winner affidavits and prizing on the streets
Entertain a crowd in public with games, music and trivia
To be creative with games and contests
Provide project manager with recap from every remote and event within 48 hours of event
Maintain promotional equipment (tool boxes, prize boxes, etc.)
Brand and market the organization
Take inventory of prizes and supplies when needed
Professional demeanor required at all times
Abide by organizational norms and support organizational goals
Follow instructions as well as take steps necessary to prevent mistakes
Follow well-defined procedure

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
Must be 21 years or older as this position requires gaining access to bars
Requires working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Photoshop
Requires ability to comprehend and write reports/recap summaries of events
Requires good verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Must be friendly and outgoing
Must be responsible and able to keep personal information of customers confidential, as this position deals with handling customer's credit card information.
Experience and Education:
College graduate or student preferred
1+ years in promotion experience with similar job responsibilities and requirements; desired, but not required
Experience in dealing with large crowds
Experience in entertaining people
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
