Overview VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Chantilly, VA or Herndon, VA. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver innovative software products that meet customer needs. What will you do? * Desing, develop, test, and deploy software applications using appropriate programming languages and technologies. * Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. * Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency across the development team. * Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. * Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of software applications through proper design and implementation. * Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospective. * Document software designs, processes, and configuration to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain an up-to-date repository of technical documentations. Do you have what it takes? * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience as Software Developer, including hands-on development and delivery of software applications. * Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby. * Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-orientated design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. * Experience with software development frameworks and tools such as Spring, .NET, React, Angular, and Django. * Familiarity with database systems and SQL, and experience in designing and optimizing database schemes. * Knowledge of web development technologies and standards, including HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
