Front End Developer
Location: Portland, OR 97210
Purpose:
The IT User Experience department at our client is dedicated to improving the usability and overall experience of internal and customer facing applications.
We are committed to fostering a development environment that places the end user at the center of all IT related processes and products.
As a part of this commitment, we are seeking a skilled visual front-end developer who can rapidly develop user interfaces for an interactive configurator application using React, React-Hooks, Redux, Redux-Sagas, and Emotion Styled Components.
An ideal candidate will have worked with a user experience team developing technical dashboard interfaces that implement complex business rules, and be able to effectively contribute to the development of consistent and reusable design patterns.
At least 3 years of experience in React with Redux/Redux-Sagas and Immutable Objects.
Experience with JavaScript best practices including ES6. Interest in test driven development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to translate high-fidelity mockups into React components, etc.
  • Create new components and user-facing features based on an existing design language
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Assure proper validations and checks before data is submitted to the back-end
  • Build Reusable code and libraries for future UX design
  • Build React components utilizing Redux state management practices.
  • Writing test cases using Enzyme/Jest
