Qualifications
Required:
- Experience working in a system like WordPress/Cascade/Halcyon
- Knowledge and experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and/or MySQL
- Experience and ability to implement web site content and graphics to a high standard.
- Must be able to work independently to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a self-driven work attitude.
- Strong time management and a willingness to learn new skills and ideas.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm.
- Knowledge of good web design and layout and ability to implement best practices and maintain continuity of branding.
- Ability to show current samples of web development work
Preferred:
- Graphic design, including creating and reconfiguring graphics for the website.
- Video editing
- Photo editing
- Project Management Experience
- Working knowledge of ADA Compliance
Additional Information
- Desired Start Date: Immediately
- Hours Worked: Applicants should be available to work 10-20 hours per week, typically during the hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Additionally, this position is open to continue during the summer. Note: This position is remote, but office space is available should the student wish to work on campus
