The Role
Our Commissioning Engineers lead the installation and testing of monitoring systems that provide condition information on high voltage electrical equipment needed to maintain reliability, reduce cost, and increase capacity. CE's enjoy solving technical challenges in different locations around the US each week and possess good planning and coordination skills that enable them to accommodate the project schedule changes associated with this role. Commissioning Engineers are interested in developing hands-on experience by challenging themselves and learning from others on the team.
What You'll Do

  • Lead the installation and commission of monitoring equipment in high voltage substations .
  • Troubleshoot control and communication problems .
  • Resolve wiring and configuration errors .
  • Document all work performed.


What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro Mechanical Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Open to extensive travel (home most weekends)
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
