Monitor Tech Opportunity

Do you want to join an organization that invests in you as a Monitor Tech? At Grand Strand Medical Center, you come first. HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.

This position is for full time nights with rotating weekends.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs necessary clerical duties by computing and maintaining records for a nursing unit. Overall management of the nursing station including answering telephones, answering patient call lights, ordering supplies and obtaining supplies and other duties as needed. The monitor technician observes EKG monitors and reports any abnormalities or unusual rhythms to the charge nurse immediately. Also accepts additional tasks assigned.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Must complete a supervised orientation and competency test with passing score of 90% at end of orientation and annually thereafter.
