Fine Art Cataloging

for World’s Largest Art Dealer


Park West Gallery, the world’s largest art dealer, is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Fine Art Cataloging & Research Specialist to join our team in Southfield, Michigan.

This is an opportunity to work with one of the largest privately held art inventories in the world while supporting global gallery teams, worldwide auctions, and distribution operations. The successful candidate will play an important role in artwork cataloging, market research, inventory management, sales analysis, valuation support, and collection administration.


This is a full-time, on-site position based in Southfield, Michigan.


What You’ll Do

Maintain and manage artwork records within company databases

Research artists, artwork provenance, and market sales comparables

Analyze internal sales data and external market trends

Support artwork valuation and pricing initiatives

Coordinate inventory and logistics for galleries, auctions, and collections worldwide

Create reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools

Assist with process improvement and data-management projects

Collaborate with departments across sales, operations, logistics, and inventory management


Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Arts Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field

Experience working with large data sets, inventory systems, or databases

Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate, or related Microsoft 365 tools

Experience in galleries, museums, auctions, collectibles, luxury goods, or related industries
