Job description
Finance Department Assistant
We are a family owned company that has been in business for 34 years and counting.
We value treating everyone with respect, collaboration and a commitment to excellence.
We are looking for someone to join our finance department and be a contributing member of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and monthly financial statements.
- Enter financial data accurately into accounting software.
- Assist with payroll processing, expense reports, and employee reimbursements.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing or payments
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic bookkeeping software (like QuickBooks).
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial data
