IT Support Technician/Tech Hub - Link Refresh Project
Client: Apex Systems
Location: O'Hare Airport
Duration: 3+ Month Contract
Rate: $25 per/hr
Schedule: 4 x 10 hr shifts (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday)
Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Role Overview
As a Tech Hub Technician, you will provide guidance and hands-on technical support to employees. You will diagnose product issues, explain situations with patience, and determine whether repairs or replacements are needed to provide solutions and get users operational again. You will resolve technical service issues with a high level of customer service, speed, and skill while managing time effectively.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to employees.
• Diagnose and resolve product issues efficiently.
• Offer solutions, including repairs or replacements, to restore user functionality.
• Perform automated imaging, installation, and removal of PC equipment.
• Manage inventory and movement of PC equipment.
• Adhere to a schedule of customer appointments.
• Maintain established processes that support adherence to TSA, Customer, and Local Airport regulations.
• Operate independently and safely with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications
Experience:

• 2 years of PC migration/deployment experience.
• Experience with Mobile iOS/Android is required.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with automated imaging tools such as SCCM and Workspace One.
• Knowledge of Windows 10, data migration, Outlook configuration, and IP configuration.

General Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and people skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting.
• Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Physical ability to move heavy equipment.
• Must be able to pass a background check required for a SIDA Badge.
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Flexibility with schedule, with the ability to work all shifts and days as assigned based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working at cellular providers is a plus.
